Learn about wine making in Wroclaw

Located in the Trzebnickie Hills and belonging to the Lower Silesian Beer and Wine Trail, the Moderna vines are growing since 2015. Nestor Kościanski, the owner, is guided by passion and the principle of “less is more”. Manual harvesting, fruit selection and yield reduction are techniques that create a wine with minimal interferences.

Twice a month, from May to October, you can try the exceptionally tasty project “Żar-wino”, combining Moderna wines with Piotr Andruszko’s outdoor fire-inspired cuisine. The owners light bonfires and open their wine cellars.

In the off-season, you can still enjoy a tour of the vineyards and a tasting of the various wines produced there, that are perfectly matched with fresh pastries and cheeses.
